Donor opportunities

Amicus is a Minnesota not-for-profit organization with over 40 years of experience in improving public safety by helping inmates and ex-offenders through positive relationship-building, restorative justice practices and individualized transition services.

Through innovative programming, Amicus helps inmates and ex-offenders reshape their lives, reach their goals, and make successful transitions from prison into the community. All of the Amicus programs are relationship-based, community-driven, culturally specific and outcome-oriented.

  7. In-kind gifts (i.e. materials, other items) - Here's a list of some of the items Amicus Reconnect can always use to help our clients who are leaving a correctional facility get a new start:
Transit passes, Hats, Coats, Gloves, Work/Employment Interview Clothes for both blue collar and white collar jobs (high need for larger men's sizes) deodorant, tooth paste, toothbrush, hand lotion, soap, sanitizer, shampoo, and wash cloths. A tote bag or duffel bag is always useful to carry items as many of our clients spend a good deal of time on the street. Amicus also has a wide variety of office supply needs, such as postage stamps, paper, folders, staplers, pens etc. If you have items you think might help us in our work, please call 612-348-8570 and we'll help arrange a convenient way to donate them.
